Day 1: Perth to Margaret River

Your adventure begins as we travel south from Perth, stopping at the picturesque coastal town of Mandurah. Enjoy the tranquil waterfront, where the iconic estuary teems with birdlife and dolphins. Next, visit the thriving regional center of Bunbury, known for its vibrant street art and the chance to spot wild bottlenose dolphins at Koombana Bay.

From there, we continue to the renowned Busselton Jetty, the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Take a memorable train ride along the jetty, and immerse yourself in marine life at the Underwater Observatory, where you’ll marvel at the vibrant coral reefs and schools of fish.

In the afternoon, we head to Yallingup to explore the mystical Ngilgi Cave, famous for its ancient limestone formations and fascinating stories of Aboriginal legend. Just a short drive away, visit the naturally sculpted Canal Rocks, where waves crash dramatically through narrow rock channels, creating an unforgettable coastal experience.

Drive through lush forests before arriving at Margaret River town, where you can unwind with a leisurely stroll, browse charming boutiques, and soak in the relaxed vibe of this renowned destination.

Day 2: Margaret River to Albany

Start your day with a visit to the iconic Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, situated at Australia’s most southwesterly point, where the Indian and Southern Oceans collide. Take in the sweeping ocean views and learn about the area’s maritime history and life of the lighthouse masters in the past.

Journey through the picturesque countryside to Pemberton, a quaint town nestled in towering karri forests. Here, you’ll marvel at the Bicentennial Tree, an impressive 75-meter-tall giant, and a symbol of Western Australia’s natural beauty.

Continue your adventure through the Valley of Giants, home to some of the oldest and tallest trees on Earth. Wander through the Ancient Empire Walk, which takes you along the forest floor among colossal tingle trees.
